Well, actually don’t buy this if you’re into fruity and floral notes. But if you already have one, or are headed to your parent’s house for the holidays, here are the instructions to use Seven Seas Roasting Co. (dark roast) coffee in reusable K-cups, which in combination is the perfect gift. Note: It costs almost 5x more $$$ when you buy pre-made pods than when you buy coffee from us and use reusable K-cups.

Rundown

• Prep Time: 3 min
• Brew Time: 1 min
• Cups: 1 cup of coffee
• Brew ratio: 1:16.5
• In your mouth: Heavy body / thick
• Grind size: Table salt (If you like it stronger, grind smaller)

Gear:

• Reusable K-Cups (we recommend Fill-N-Save)
• 175g of water
• 5g of coffee (2 tablespoons)
• Burr grinder / Hand grinder
• Scale

Pre-Brew

• Use a brew ratio of coffee to water that is 1:16.5.
• Grind 10.5g of coffee
• Place in reusable K-cup
• Secure lid

Brew

• Place in Keurig and brew medium cup
• Readjust until your taste preference is reached
